Erica Johnson

Erica Johnson received her Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts from Thomas Aquinas College in 2021. She earned her Masters of Arts in Philosophy from University of Dallas in 2023 and is working on her PhD in Philosophy at University of Dallas. She has taught Writing Principles at
University of Dallas since fall of 2022. She is currently president of the Braniff Graduate Student’s Association where she served as treasurer from 2022-2023. Her research interests include Aristotle’s natural philosophy, particularly his understandings of motion, time, and nature, time in Descartes and Augustine, and classical and modern physics. A native of Moscow, Idaho, she has been familiar with classical education for as long as she can remember. Erica is passionate about reconciling the advances in mathematics and science which the last few centuries have brought about with a classical understanding of the quadrivium.
