Severinus Fellows

The Severinus Fellows

The Severinus Fellowship unites those passionate about liberal education in a bond of friendship and common effort to recover wisdom for a darkened world. Severnius Fellows are current and aspiring leaders of educational renewal at the local, national, and international levels who are committed to being well-formed in the traditional liberal arts as a foundation for a life of wisdom and to supporting one another in efforts to advance a common vision of liberal education.

Fellows engage in a two-year formation program led by Senior Fellows of the Boethius Institute. The program includes annual symposia, online courses in each of the liberal arts, and small group mentoring. Fellows will contribute to the work of the Boethius Institute through blogging about their experience, and by preparing in collaboration with a Senior Fellow a contribution in writing or speaking to the advancement of educational renewal.

The cost of the program is $2500 per year, which includes all expenses except travel. The program will begin with a 2-day symposium on the Republic of Plato, August 8-9, at the Augustine Institute, Florissant, Missouri.

To apply, please send your curriculum vitae or resume and a cover letter explaining your interest in the program to office@boethiusinstitute.org, along with any other materials you would like to supply to support your application. The deadline to apply is June 30, 2025. Please allow 4-6 weeks for a response and information about the next steps in the process.
