Adeodatus National Conference 2025
At the Adeodatus conference, educators were equipped in their mission to understand the liberal arts tradition and bring its educational insights to life in their classrooms. The goal was twofold: to provide participants with rich content that will nurture their vocation as educators and arm them with a message of strength and hope that can be shared with the communities they serve during this time of significant distractions and challenges. Boethius Institute President Dr. Andrew Seeley spoke on Reflections of a Born Teacher and Senior Fellow Dr. Jeffrey Lehman spoke on Socratic teaching
The 2nd Adeodatus National Conference theme of Students Fully Alive! provides pedagogical formation in both the theory and practice of the liberal arts method, based on 2500 years of best practices. Presenters also shared strategies on how to apply their insights to the issues faced by 21st century learners. The all-keynote format provided dynamic and engaging sessions on the important topics of wonder; focus; memory; inquiry; leisure; integration; technological use and abuse; cooperation among students, teachers, and parents; supporting at-risk students; as well as real solutions to questions about the best ways to form and educate students today, citing data and real life experiences.
